Eric Hovey
Portland native, original Eastsider, and celebrated graphic artist in the downhill skateboard community. Gaining his passion for longboarding in Southern Oregon while in college, he rode with his Hawaiian buddies on the hills of Ashland. Eric is always a solid contender and can keep up with the best around. As a key member in the Portland scene, he contributes his talent working for Eastside with his various board graphics and designs. Also creating numerous skate event flyers and websites for organizers such as the Cathlamet Downhill Corral. His day job is a graphic designer at Nike. And he also rides for The Uprise Shop in Corvallis, OR. Over the years he's made some of the most respected skate videos using his superb filming and editing skills. Check out his Vimeo page.
