| SwitchBacks - Washington Park / Trail-View Welcome to the newly repaved (9/08) trail in Washington Park named SWITCHBACKS. This buttery smooth longboarding playground features three straights, two 180 degree Lefts, and one killer 180 right. This run is located near the entrance to Washington Park via Salmon Street from PGE park going West uphill, which turns into Park Ave. Entering the Park the new path is on the left appox. 50 feet. Check out the Zoo Bomb Gallery for a map and location. Currently it is closed to public traffic, however BEWARE of Park vehicals, bikers, peds, dogs, and especially baby carriages. The Eastsiders and other Portland area riders meet up here on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS from 4pm to dark. Check the Forum for details and meeting up with others.
